2025/12/14 - something quite remarkable was reported earlier today by a member of Commodore Finland Facebook group. He was the first player that reported beating the dragon on the final level of Little Knight Arthur for Commodore 64. Without cheats, using original target hardware... and he had video to prove it. So, merely 40 years after the game was made, and about 10 years since the game was released to a larger public, along with three related gameplay challenges, a genuine non-play-testing player (meaning player other than myself, the developer of the game) accomplished the ultimate goal of the original game without any of the traniners, cheats or other modern conveniences. Oh dear, I might just be a little emotional now.

To check out who finally did it and who are the very few who have accomplished any of the three game play challenges for Little Knight Arthur, I posted in 2016, see the glorious annals from Order of the Knighthood To get a feel on what type of feat playing the game or the challenges might be, you can download the game, get your Commodore 64, or an emulator, and try yourself.
